About The Heaps Team...
The Heaps Team is a four person team with an administrative assistant, working together to make the real estate process as easy as possible for you. By working as a team they are able to deliver better service because each person can focus on what they do best. For example, Becky Heaps and Pam Smith spend much of their time with buyer clients and are able to tour hundreds of homes each year. This is important because it means they know the market. Pam is also responsible for all the Heaps Team's closings.
Paul Heaps and Becky Shaner work mostly with seller clients. Paul spends about 50% of his time working on things to improve the quality of our business. How many agents could spend half their time improving their business? That is just one of the many advantages of working with a team. Becky Shaner spends about 50% of her time handling the marketing/multimedia for the team, and keeping up with today's latest technology.
By each person having their areas of specialty they can provide a better overall experience for you.
The Heaps Team is made up of top producing agents in Southwest Michigan and are lifelong residents of the area. Paul graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in finance and worked in finance before beginning his real estate career. Prior to real estate Becky Heaps was a manager at the Whirlpool Corporation. Becky Shaner brings over 5 years experience as a real estate agent and has an extensive background fostered by her work at the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago. Pam Smith brings over 13 years of real estate experience to the team with a background in business & PR. The Heaps Team's clients have found their previous business experience to be helpful in solving their real estate problems, and through the use of advanced technology and internet marketing, they have developed the most streamlined and client responsive real estate business in the area.
